Josephine Cullison began her real estate career in 1997, as an assistant to a top producer in Manhattan Beach, CA. After learning from the best, she obtained her real estate license in 1999 and then joined RE/MAX Beach Cities in Manhattan Beach, CA. She achieved the top 10% of agents in her first year in the business.
Josephine relocated to the Central Valley from Redondo Beach, CA. in 2002 and began selling at Roberson Real Estate. Then in 2003 she had an opportunity to work with Dennis Fox to learn about foreclosures and distressed assets.
Wanting to apply her new knowledge and get back into the sales game, she joined The Scott Rivera Real Estate Team, achieving the ranking of top 10% of agents in Bakersfield for over three years. Her proven record of accomplishment and experience led to an opportunity to work for RE/MAX Magic with Debbie Banducci and her REO team.
As a result of her hard work, drive, and great mentors, Josephine was offered the position of Branch Manager for Miramar Real Estate Group in 2009. Miramar Real Estate Group became Miramar International, Inc. in 2010. This is where she believes she found her calling in life. By creating a vision and sharing that vision with her team, she helped grow the company from 10 agents to over 100 agents. In addition, she believes in lifelong learning and taught herself how to leverage new technology to help grow the business. She was instrumental in launching the company’s Facebook page. Her efforts in managing, recruiting, and marketing contributed to Miramar International, Inc. being ranked the number #5 real estate brokerage in Bakersfield and the #1 Local Independent Company.
In addition to Josephine’s many career accomplishments, she also believes her family is a personal success. Her husband of 33 years, Frank, is her number one supporter. She also has a daughter and son with families of their own. While Josephine truly loves her career, she loves being a grandmother to her five grandchildren even more.
